Milestone days together
Couples count days as well as years. These are the day counts people mark most often and roughly how long each one is. The calculator above gives your exact dates.

How do I calculate how long we've been together?
Count the full years since the day you got together, then the months, then the days. The calculator does it for you and also shows the total in days, weeks, months and hours.
How many days have we been together?
Subtract the date you got together from today's date. The calculator shows the total the moment you enter your date, and it counts the leap days in between.
Does the first day count as day 1 or day 0?
Both are used. Counting the day you got together as day 0 means day 100 falls 100 days later. Some couples, especially in Korea, count the first day as day 1, which moves every milestone one day earlier. Tick "Count the first day as day 1" to switch.
When is our 100th day or 1,000th day together?
Day 100 is about three months and a week after you got together, and day 1,000 is about two years and nine months later. Enter your date and the calculator lists the exact dates of your next milestones.
Can I add the milestones to my calendar?
Yes. After you enter your date, the button under the results downloads a calendar file (.ics) with your next milestones as all-day events. It opens in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Outlook.
What is the traditional gift for each anniversary?
The traditional US list starts with paper for the first year, cotton for the second and leather for the third; the table above lists every year from 1 to 15 and then every five years to 60.
What is the difference between traditional and modern gifts?
Traditional gifts are the older list (paper, cotton, leather…). The modern list was added later (clocks, china, crystal…). Many couples pick from either, or simply use the theme as a starting point.
What if our anniversary is on February 29?
In years without a February 29, the calculator uses February 28.
Are my dates saved?
No. The calculator runs in your browser and nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
